Throughout your stay, nurses will assess your condition and needs, and inform your physicians of your progress.
They will develop and follow a nursing care plan within the scope of your attending physician's orders that respects
your individual needs. For you and your family members, nurses also provide patient education about your hospital care,
surgical and medical procedures, and care after discharge. Never hesitate to ask questions about your care in the
hospital. You have the right to be fully informed.
Medical Staff
Your attending doctor is a member of the hospital medical staff and is responsible for managing your care while you
are in the hospital. Your doctor orders examinations, tests, pharmaceutical medication, diets and all special studies
and treatments you may need. Your doctor may also consult specialists to define the best course of treatment for you.
Physician assistants are employed by the hospital to perform initial history and physical examinations and to provide
continuing care under the supervision of your physician.

The hospital team is dedicated to providing the best possible care and service to you. Our goal is to meet and exceed
your expectations. If, in your opinion, we are not doing that, we want you to tell us! If your nurse or your unit's
nursing supervisor cannot resolve your concern, we invite you or your representative to contact our Patient
Satisfaction Representative.
